You will have read in the Club Constitution that we are aiming to achieve the FA Charter Standard Status.

The Charter Standard Scheme is best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

Obviously the majority of work needed to achieve this status is done by the club, officials and managers, but parents too can make this easier for us by following our constitution and informing us when their child is unavailable for a match or training as soon as possible (not 10 minutes before the event). We also need to record all aspects of monies and the collection of subs and we therefore ask parents to try and be prompt with these maters.

You can find out more about the Charter Standard Scheme at TheFA.com or by clicking this link. more...
