3rd October 2004 - Away 10.30am KO vs. Hempnall This will the first time for a while the two sides have met. Traditionally Hempnall have always been an A League side, until last year when they played in the B League. They generally are a big side and are used to winning. They were one of the teams picked out by Sole Bay as a good side from last years league. Hempnall have in the past played on a really big pitch with full size 24ft goals, however I hear that this year this might have changed. This will be Mutford's hardest test of the season so far following two straight wins which puts Mutford top of the league at this early stage. Manager Paul Rose says "We need a good performance for the full hour, not just half a game. There were times in both the previous games when we switched off, although in the second half with Waveney injuries meant we played lots of players out of position. If we don't play the full hour it could cost us the game against Hempnall". At this stage it looks as though Mutford will have a full squad of 14 to choose from. The meeting for the journey is 9.30 am at Rainbow. Directions: Turn right at the "Chicken" roundabout at Ditchingham (near Bungay), head towards Norwich and take the left turn to Woodton. Reach Hempnall and the ground is on the left. Posted 29th September 2004 |
