Mutford's injury crisis worsened last night with the news that left back Joe has been sidelined for at least 6 weeks with a broken elbow.

The injury occurred while Joe was out walking his dog with Mum Sam. Joe was apparently riding a scooter when he suddenly fell breaking his left elbow. There then followed a dash to James Paget Hospital where Doctors delivered the devastating news.

Sam then immediately got a message to Mutford Manager Paul Rose who was shocked by the news, "I am really sorry for Joe. He loves his football and is one of the first names on the Team sheet every week. He is vital for the balance of the Team. As soon as he is available I will be looking to bring him back in, until then it will be a case of make do and mend for both the Team and Joe".

This is the latest set back for Mutford following Jack's accident when he fell from a tree and is recovering slowly after being hospitalised for some time.

There are rumours currently circulating form conspiracy theorists that Mutford are being knobbled by mystery assassins, but this is dismissed by the clubs management. The crisis is worsened by fact that 2 players are currently unavailable due to suspension following some unacceptable behaviour. Rose went on to say "I hope those boys suspended realise how much they have effected the whole Team and understand that there are boys desperate to play who haven't got their fitness and what a waste of their careers this is".

At the current time Mutford have only 10 players available for Sundays game against Caister.
