12th December, Home 10.30am KO vs. St Benets Wasps.

Mutford play their second successive home match at The Dell on Sunday, this time against St Benets Wasps.

Both sides come into the match following wins last week. Mutford produced their best performance for some time with the win over Gorleston C and St Benets hit ten against Ormesby.

Earlier in the season Mutford ran out 4-2 winners away from home, however the result could have been very different as St Benets were leading 2-1 until the midway point of the second half.

Mutford manager Paul Rose has a selection headache before the match with first choice keeper Harrison back in contention, and deputy 'keeper Jervey producing a man of the match performance last week. He said "Jervey has earned the right to decide were he wants to play next week. He stepped into what could have been a difficult situation as Gorleston could have beaten us heavily and he would have been picking the ball out of the net each time. He showed courage and character to offer to go in goal. In regards to St Benets, their league position is false, they are a good side, no one has beaten too heavily this season. They were unlucky at their place against us and will be difficult".

Players are asked to meet at The Dell at 10.00am.
