It is rumoured that Mutford Under 12's have negotiated an excellent deal for a new pitch (see below).

Mutford left winger Smiffy said "It's great, we will actually see the ball played down the left wing for a change, well, for one half anyway".

We should point out that these rumours have been denied by the club. Assistant Manager Mark Smith was reported to say "This story is a load of rubbish, anyone can see that this pitch is far too good for us!!!"
