A well disciplined performance from Mutford was rewarded with a 3-0 victory over Waveney B at Dell Road.

Mutford lined up with Harrison in Goal. James, Jack, Phil and Joe in defence. In midfield were Josh, Smiffy, Jason and Harley with Josh2 and Mikey up front. Jordan took up a position on the bench after missing last weeks defeat at Gorleston Rangers B.

Mutford welcomed AJ and Jervy back to Dell Road for the first time since their transfers to Waveney.

A good start from the home side without creating too much in the way of goal scoring chances until Jason picked up a loose ball in midfield and sent a thunderous drive against the crossbar with Mikey unable to get onto the rebound.

Mutford looked comfortable in midfield and made the breakthrough after a through ball was smartly finished by Josh slotting home at the near post.

Half Time 1-0.

Mutford continued to build and got a deserved although somewhat fortunate 2nd goal from Jordan after a wicked bounce from another Jason Shot had deceived the Waveney 'keeper leaving Jordan with the simplest of tasks as he fired into the open net.

Jordan sealed the victory with his 8th goal in his last 4 matches after latching onto a Smiffy throughball.

Afterwards manager Paul praised the whole team for their disciplined performance and the tireless Smiffy was awarded Man-of-the-Match.
