The Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League have announced that Mutford Under 14's have won the Sporting Award for Division 2, and have been invited to collect the award at the annual presentation on 1st June at The Ocean Room's Gorleston.

Upon receiving the news Manager Paul Rose was thrilled, "It is with great pride that myself, Mark and the boys will accept this award on 1st June. It is a real complement to the team and the way that they have played this year. The award has put the icing on the cake for a very successful year".

Mutford finished 4th narrowly missing out on third by 1 point and having the best defensive record in the whole 3 divisions. Great performances in the Cup and Shield saw Mutford take two 1st division teams to extra time, and one of those going to penalties.
